BILLING

Payment at the time of consultation is required or an additional fee of $10.00 will be incurred.

 

Standard consultations: $86.00 (Medicare rebate of $39.10)

Longer consultations: $140.00 (Medicare rebate of $75.75)

Standard home visits: $170 (Medicare rebate of $66.50)

Children under 13 are bulk billed, children aged 13 – 17 are charged a discounted fee

Full Pensioners and Veterans’ Affairs patients are bulk-billed and should present their Veterans Affairs’ Card or Pension card to the receptionist after their consultation.

Low income Health Care Card Holders and part pensioners are charged a discounted fee. Concession card holders should present their concession card after their appointment.

A fee of $55.10 is payable to see our Diabetes Educator if the visit is not covered by a referral under a care plan. There will be no out of pocket cost for visits allocated under a care plan.

 

All patients should bring their Medicare card to every consultation, and present it to the receptionist after their appointment.

Credit Card and Eftpos facilities are available.

Repeat Prescriptions & Re-referrals

 

All patients must book an appointment for repeat prescriptions and re-referrals. Any scripts and referrals that are issued without an appointment is at the doctor’s discretion and will incur a fee of $20 or $30.
