Full body skin cancer checks are recommencing from the week starting 3 May 2020. Some extra precautions are being taken, particularly with masks to be worn by patients.
SKIN CANCER SERVICE AT VERMONT MEDICAL CLINIC

Vermont Medical Clinic has a skin cancer surveillance and treatment service. The skin cancer service has qualified skin cancer doctors who perform whole body skin cancer checks looking for all types of skin malignancy. These include melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, keratoacanthoma, Bowen's disease as well as rarer skin tumours. Treatments that can be provided include surgery, cryotherapy, topical immunotherapy, topical chemotherapy and diathermy. Diagnostic services include biopsies and skin photography. Whole body photography will be available in the future.

Dr Lidija Suntesic

Dr Lidija Suntesic is already well known at Vermont Medical Clinic as she has been working at the clinic for many years. She completed her medical training at Melbourne University and has been a practicing General Practitioner for over 25 years.
Lidija has been expanding her interest and obtaining professional training in the detection and management of skin cancer, completing a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery in 2017 at Bond University.

Dr Leila Radfar

Dr Leila Radfar has commenced working in skin cancer medicine at the clinic in 2019. She consults on Wednesdays.

Appointments can be made to see Dr Lidija Suntesic on alternate Fridays with additional times on other weekdays, Dr Radfar on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Dr Mirzaee on Friday evenings. Online appointments will available in the near future but currently appointments for the skin cancer service are to be made by telephoning the clinic on 9874 2422.
