I enjoy seeing a variety of health problems but I am particularly interested in keeping people with chronic illnesses happy and as healthy as possible. I still enjoy seeing little kids and older people who still have a bit of kid in them.
Jim studied medicine at the University of Melbourne and has been a practicing General Practitioner for the the last 20 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Merran has been a general practitioner at Vermont Medical Clinic for over fifteen years. She has particular interests in Women's Health, Paediatrics, Shared Care and Weight Loss.
Shelly graduated with MB BS (Hons) and B Med Sci (Hons) from Monash University and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is accredited for shared obstetric care at the Mercy and Eastern Health.

Lidija has been a GP at The Vermont Medical Clinic for over 20 years
She completed her medical training at Melbourne University and has been a practicing General Practitioner for over 25 years.
Lidija has been expanding her interest and obtaining professional training in the detection and management of skin cancer.

Julie joined Vermont Medical Clinic in 2016. Apart from holding FRACGP, she is a qualified Lactation Consultant and is also interested in Mental Health.
“Having attended an international school with representation by 130 countries in my formative years, I am fascinated by and enjoy hearing people’s diverse life stories. As a General Practitioner I wish to manage peoples health concerns with compassion, wisdom and integrity. I aim to provide medical management that is evidence based and at the same time addresses the patients individual needs and agendas. I have special interests in Breastfeeding Medicine, Paediatrics and Mental Health and have 20 minute appointment slots.”
Dr Chang also speaks Hokkien and Mandarin.
Cynthia graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University in South Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She joined Vermont Medical Clinic in May 2017.

Diane Phillips graduated from Monash University.
She started Mariemont Surgery in 1981 on its original site in Mariemont Avenue. Diane is interested in all aspects of general practice, and especially diabetes, heart disease and women’s health. She is involved in the teaching of Monash University medical students and complements her work in Wantirna with short term locums in rural Australia, mostly in remote indigenous communities in the Northern Territory. Her special interests are asthma, diabetes, blood pressure problems and paediatrics.

Dr. Dan Epstein is a graduate from Monash University and The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, where he was awarded the 2018 Training Registrar GP of the year for Australia. He is currently undertaking his Ph.D. at Monash University, focusing on behavior change interventions in public health within the vaccine confidence space.
Dr Jerome Klein is a graduate from Bavaria in Germany. While studying neurosurgery he met his Australian future wife, moved here, and changed his career path to general practice. He is currently studying for Fellowship of the RACGP.
Dr Jerry Wang has joined the clinic, at this stage he is working on weekends. During the week he can be found around Shepparton.
“I enjoy all aspects of general practice and am a strong believer of preventative medicine and holistic approach. Swimming and basketball are my favourite as well as music and reading. I had additional training in adolescent health and worked with Department of Education for GP in senior school program. I can do skin check and procedures and travel advice.”

Dr Lufi Mulyadi was one of our locum doctors and we are now delighted have her join the medical staff permanently.
Dr Sharee Walford is a general practice registrar who will be training in the clinic for the next six months from August 2020.
Dr Suntesic has qualifications in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, with a dedicated session on alternate Fridays with additional times through the week. Please phone for an appointment for this service.
Dr Leila Radfar has special expertise in skin cancer medicine and has joined the clinic the pursue her interest. Appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Adrian Elliot-Smith is originally from the UK but moved to Melbourne from Mount Gambier where he was a partner in a large group practice. He will be working occasional locums.
Dr Adeli works as an emergency locum from time to time.
Qualification: Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Post Grad. Cert Continence and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy.
Varsha completed her physiotherapy degree at Monash University. She has worked in private clinics in the south east of Melbourne for over 6 years. Her approach is patient centred to help reach their optimal physical health goals. Special musculoskeletal interests include:
– Neck and shoulder pain
– Low back pain
– Rotator cuff injuries
– Acute/ chronic knee and hip pain and degenerative conditions
– Exercise prescriptions for osteoporosis and balance problems.
– Hip and knee replacement rehabilitation.
Furthermore, Varsha has a keen interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and has completed further studies in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. She specialises in assessing pelvic floor muscles to help gain a better understanding of your current condition. Varsha is able to developspecific and individualised exercise programs to manage incontinence issues, overactive bladder, pelvic girdle pain, prolapse conditions and pre/postnatal pelvic pain.
David Jayapaul, a highly skilled podiatrist, consults at the clinic mainly on Fridays and some Saturdays.
